G-SHOCK GW-B5600CD-9ER er en spesialmodell som bygger på et samarbeid med Charles Darwin Foundation.
Bezelen og remmen er laget av biobaserte harpikser for å hedre forpliktelsen til miljøet som G-SHOCK og Darwin-stiftelsen deler. Denne forpliktelsen er også fanget i designet, som er inspirert av de gigantiske skilpaddene som har Galápagos som sitt hjem.
Baklokket er gravert med Charles Darwin Foundation-logoen og navnet på spansk, mens remmen bærer den spanske frasen «Apoyo la conservación de Galápagos» – jeg støtter bevaringen av Galapagos.
Teknisk er modellen utstyrt med finesser som Bluetooth, Tough Solar solcelle-lading.
